AFTER DARK – NIGHTLIFE

Life in a small town ! When the dinner is done and the sun goes down it’s fun and get out with your fiends and family. It’s always fun to hear some music, shoot some pool, play darts and Shuffleboard and make some new friends and great memories !

For a little bit of Ireland on the Pacific Ocean, come to Mendocino`s Patterson`s Pub. A traditional Irish pub, with healthy comfort pub food and the best stocked bar north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Located in the heart of historic Mendocino Village between the grocery store and the firehouse. On September 6, 1989, Tony and Mary Anne sat nursing a Guinness in a pub on the Dingle Peninsula of Ireland and Patterson`s was conceived. With a bit of Irish Luck, on September 6, 1993, Patterson`s became part of the Mendocino community, bringing with it a bit of the charm of the Emerald Isle. The Mendocino Coast has been rated #3 on the New York Times list of 52 Places to Go in 2014.

Golden West Saloon

Golden West Saloon Deeply rooted in history and serving as a comfortable hub for good times shared by locals and travelers alike, Golden West Saloon also has two shuffle boards and two pool tables. The Golden West is one of the oldest operating businesses in Fort Bragg, California. The actual date it was built has been lost, but it has been on Fort Bragg maps since 1890. The Golden West recently (February, 2015) sold and has new owners. ` The old building has many of the original bar features, lights and other fixtures. The upstairs at times has been a brothel, hotel and rooming house. Some architectural remnants of those businesses still survive. Its definitely a trip back in time and history. The bar room walls are covered with photos and artifacts from the areas logging and fishing history. This is a bar, not a restaurant, no food is sold. They serve liquor, wine and beer and have a very good selection in a wide range of prices. There are two pool tables, shuffle board, bumper pool and pinball machines. A juke box provides music although I understand they have live music occasionally. They are open from noon till 2 AM, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. On Sundays they have a make your own Bloody Mary bar from noon till 6 PM.
